New semester, new start?

When? The first day back to school after winter break

It had been a relatively uneventful winter break, other than the few chances he got to visit Beth... Quinn had only let him see her when she was available to keep an eye on them... As if Puck was going to take her with him to steal an ATM. But Beth had taken very strongly to her daddy, despite Quinn's worry and Puck's fear. He loved Beth, but part of him was always scared of messing up, doing something stupid, or sucking as a dad. But the tiny girl would have nothing of that, and took to her Daddy like it was her job.
Coming back to school, though, was be the hard part. It was easier not thinking about Quinn when he didn't have to see her all the damn time. He tried to keep it to himself, for the sake of things not sucking anymore than they already did... but he treasured the time with Quinn just as much as the time with Beth.
The sad fact of it was, he still loved her. And it sucked watching her walk around with Sam looking like the damn Wonder Twins.
And if there was any way in hell to do it, Puck was going to get her back.
